A place for all Formula 1 fans to present their opinions and views for the upcoming F1 season. Good luck for 2008 | ||||||
Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix - March 23, 2008
The second F1 grand prix of the 2008 season was vastly different from the first a week ago. Firstly 17 cars finished and only Massa seemed to sucumb to the heat with a driver error leaving him "beached" in the sand trap. Again the points paying positions were as follows: 1. Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari) 10 points 2. Robert Kubica (Williams BMW) 8 points 3. Hekki Kovalainen (McLaren Mercedes) 6 points 4. Jarno Trulli (Williams Toyota) 5 points 5. Lewis Hamilton (McLaren Mercedes) 4 points 6. Nick Heidfeld (Williams BMW) 3 points 7. Mark Webber (Red Bull) 2 points 8. Fernando Alonso (Renault) 1 point As always I am pleased to see the ferraris out front, Massa unfortunately ending a great race due to what seems to be a heavy foot out of the corners and without traction control - Massa seems to have lost the backend of the car again (remember the first corner of the Australian GP). WELL DONE KIMI. The pace of the ferrari was unmatched in the Malaysian formula one grand prix. See you in two weeks, when we head to Bahrain for the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix on April 6, 2008. Last year Massa took the checkered flag and Raikkonnen took third. LA Ferrari Rentals
